Is my Journey covered by insurance? 

At this time, your Journey is not covered by insurance. Our goal is to bring down the cost of cash-pay testing over time and to minimize any uncertainty around insurance coverage.

Is my Journey HSA and FSA Eligible? 

Journeys are HSA and FSA eligible. However, please consult with your insurance for individualized coverage guidance.

Journeys lab tests  are available to adults 18 and older  who want to take a proactive role in their health — whether you're feeling great and want to stay that way, or you're looking for answers and support.

Fullscript is the platform that powers your Journeys experience. It’s used by your provider to order lab tests, create personalized wellness plans, securely store your health information, and communicate with you — all in one place.

How do I schedule my lab tests?

After purchasing your lab test, you’ll receive an email with clear instructions and a link to schedule your appointment. We’ve partnered with Quest Diagnostics, offering over 2,000 locations nationwide — most within 10 miles of your home.

Do I need a prescription to get my lab test?

No prescription needed. All lab tests are ordered and reviewed by licensed providers — it’s all included as part of your Journey. Just make an appointment at a lab draw center, and show up! They’ll already have your order in their system.

Where can I see my test results?

Your results will appear in the Labs section of your Journeys dashboard, powered by Fullscript. Click View Details next to the test to explore your results and interpretation. If your provider hasn’t reviewed them yet, you can still download the results via Quest Labs PDF to look at yourself or share with your primary care or other provider.

How long does it take to get my results back?

Most results from Quest Diagnostics are available within 2 to 5 business days. Some more advanced tests may take longer. Once your results are ready and your provider  has reviewed and interpreted them — you’ll be notified by email and can view them, along with your personalized wellness plan, in your dashboard.

How much blood will I have to give? 

The amount of tubes needed will depend on the Journeys package you select. Generally, with functional testing like Journeys, you should plan to have at least 8-10  vials of blood drawn.

Do I need to fast for my labs? 

In order to get accurate results, you will need to be fasted (no food or drink except water for 8-12 hours beforehand) and schedule the draw to be within 2 hours of waking up.

How should I prepare for the day of the test? 

If you are taking supplements, we recommend waiting until after your lab draw. For any prescription medications, please consult your prescribing medical provider for recommendations regarding timing of your medications.

We understand that blood draws aren’t for everyone - if you tend to get lightheaded or have trouble with blood draws we recommend bringing a snack or juice to have as a pick me up for after your draw!

Will someone explain my lab results to me?

Yes. Every Journey includes a written interpretation from a licensed provider, explaining your results in clear, simple language. You’ll also see visual benchmarks and trend tracking to help you understand your data over time — no medical background required.

What can I do about my results?

Along with your results, you’ll receive a personalized wellness plan created by your provider. It may include dietary and supplement guidance, lifestyle tips, resources or follow-up testing — all designed to help you take action and improve your health.

How long will my results be available for?

Your results, wellness plan, and clinician summary will remain available in the Fullscript platform unless you choose to delete them. Journeys is designed to help you track your health over time — your information stays accessible whenever you need it.
